Week One: Setting Yourself Up for Success - What to have in place BEFORE you begin marketing your book. In week one, the focus will be on auditing your website, media kit, mailing list and social media profiles to ensure everything is up to date, your branding is consistent, and you have the necessary info in all the right places. I’ll share the best platforms to join to promote your book online. 

Week Two: Utilizing Your Book to Capture Leads and Grow Your List – In Week Two, we’ll discuss why it’s imperative that you have a way to capture your reader’s contact information, so you can grow your list and nurture your fan base. This is important so you can continue marketing to them for your future books, products and services. 

Week 3: Getting Featured – once your book and author profiles are properly set up, it’s time to begin getting featured by the media and other influencers so you can benefit from those with a larger audience and reach. 

Week 4: Getting Your Book into Bookstores & Libraries – We’ll discuss strategies for getting your book into bookstores and libraries, and how it differs at the national level versus the local level. If you’ve ever wondered how to pitch your book to Barnes & Noble, or how to negotiate with local bookstores, we'll cover all those questions and more. 

Week 5: Promoting Your Book with Paid Traffic – This week we’ll discuss Facebook ads, Amazon ads and promotion companies. How they work, which ones to choose and how to strategically set up successful campaigns to get the most ROI for your ad budget. 

Week 6: Sales Funnels – The real money we make as authors comes from everything we create after our book is published, based on the message within our book as the foundation. In our final week together, we’ll discuss ways to generate even more profits as an author through creating companion products and services. 


HOW IT WORKS: 

* We’ll connect inside a private Facebook group exclusive to participants of the group coaching program.

* The weekly sessions will run approximately 60-90 minutes and will be held every Monday evening via Zoom or Facebook Live inside our closed group.

* Our weekly sessions will be recorded for those who cannot attend live. If you know you cannot attend the live session, you’ll have the option to email your question(s) in advance. 

* Each week you’ll receive a downloadable checklist to keep you on track and moving towards success. 

* Shanda will be active in the Facebook group between sessions to answer questions and lend support along the way.

* You’ll connect with other authors on a similar journey, which means opportunities for collaborations and to support each other’s marketing efforts.
